Dr. Brantz is the best history professor I had throughout my major. Very warm, extremely knowledgeable, and very interesting. There are some papers of decent length, but the class overall is not that difficult and he's extremely helpful. There's a reason Dr. Brantz is the mayor of Boone.

Professor Brantz was one of my all-time favorite teachers. He made history interesting and if you really pay attention and take notes, you will pass. He's an easy grader and a really nice guy. I will miss his class.

Professor Brantz is one of the nicest professors at App. He is very approachable and helpful, but I struggled paying attentions to his lectures. His power points lacked a lot of the information and he talks pretty fast. The papers were easy but the 3 exams were pretty tough and he also assigns a lot of books to read.

I went on Dr. Brantz annual Holocaust History study abroad trip and it was the greatest experience of my life. I would highly recommend taking any of his classes while he is still teaching.

One of the best professors I have ever taken. He loves the subject and is willing to help share that love to anyone who needs help with it. There is a good amount of coursework but it is all easy to do as long as you pay attention and show up to class. I hear he is being eased into retirement so take him while you have the chance.

Most adorable professor ever. Definitely knows his stuff and is passionate about it. He's super sweet and is willing to help. One of the most responsive professors I've ever had since he always answers mails pretty quickly. Take him if you have the chance.

Took him for History and Culture. Really nice guy. Key to doing well is make sure you go to class. Too much work though for a 1000 level history class. Sometimes I felt that he treated like it was a 3000 history class and we all were history majors.

Dr. Brantz is amazing, He's so knowledgeable of the Holocaust and history in general. He is happy to help and loves to talk to students. Super funny. If you have the chance, TAKE HIM! no tests, only easy papers. we turn in questions every class and he answers all of the in a "newsletter" such an excellent teacher and such a great man!

I absolutely love Dr. Rennie Brantz; he's the most adorable and intellectual man I've ever met. He's undoubtedly the best professor at ASU. Everything he says is so interesting and he really cares about how it makes you feel and how it relates to your life. I wish I could take every class under him!
