There is a lot of busy work in this class, but it is pretty easy if you want to get an A and put in the work for it. The tests are kind of hard, so it helps if you do the study guide that he gives out. Read the powerpoints & you should be good for the 2 tests he gives. There was extra credit but you can't miss more than 2 classes to be eligible.

Prof. Karsten is SO fun! His classes are SO well prepared and goes along with his packet. Attendance is highly recommended because the classwork is pretty easy if you're there. Trying to figure it out on your own is not so easy. His quote was "I'm making it your job to fail" because he gives you all the tools you need. GREAT Professor, recommend!

Bus Apps I with him is a breeze -- He can be confusing because he writes code that sometimes doesn't work (ONLY TEACHES BUS APPS I IN THE SPRING). But he's easy and the coding is simple.

Hands down the best professor I've had at the University. Always willing to help & is one of the nicest guys you'll meet. You'll do a lot better if you attend class because he explains things very well. He teaches like he really wants you to understand the material & really cares how you're doing. Take him if you can!

Great guy. Easy to talk to, very interesting, explains the information very well. He makes a hard subject easy to understand. Always available to help with questions, both in and out of class. PHP, MySQL, and HTML coding has never been easier. The only hard part was remembering all of the syntax, but he would give hints even during the tset. 10/10

Favorite teacher I've had so far!!! went out of his way to help me after I had a bad grade on my first exam.... very helpful and wonderful teacher.. If I had a chance to I'd take another of his classes in a heartbeat.

Rex is awesome! The appl. stuff isn't bad as long as you do it. Book stuff is kinda hard but he does a pretty good job. Tests are currently matching, MC, and short answer which aren't fun but he's pretty good with grading. His classes have the highest average. I recommend him for this class!

The biggest problem with this class is the material. The prof is good though. He does what he can with whats given. Provides the complete power point clides to you before test and they are a great help in studying. The book exams are somewhat difficult but the application ones aren't too bad.
