Loved prof. Wilcox! You do have to read a lot, but from my world lit class the books wernt toooo boring. Overall the class itself was average and you simply discussed the books we were to read. But she is a greatttt person and takes a real interest in her students. She really helped me out when it came to my final grade. Amazing lady!

LOVE her. I took her for 1101 as well because she is so great. She taught me soo much, I write papers wayyy better because lf her and ive seen myself grown. Lectures arent really interesting but its worth it. She is always there to help outside of class and breaks down everything she needs you to do. Dont underestimate her follow her direction!

The reading isn't too heavy, but don't get behind. She loves a pop quiz, and if you didn't read you won't pass them. Her papers aren't hard, and the class is interesting. Highly recommend this class, and this professor.

Lots of reading. She is a great professor that truly loves literature. I received a C because lack of trying. Could easily pass this class with a high B with good effort.

Dr. Wilcox English 2111 class is hard, and It is better to take it with somebody else. Going into the corse, you are expected to read 50-100 pages of stories for homework. On top of that it is world lit. so some of the readings are hard to understand even if it is translated to english. She is also a tough grader. In conclusion take somebody else.

Dr. Wilcox is a great professor. Her homework was simple (mainly reading), but you have to do it because she quizzes you over it at the beginning of every class. She is really caring, and she wants all of her students to succeed. After every essay that you write, she requires you to have a conference with her.

She is a amazing teacher, yet her final is quite difficult. as long as you read the stories and know them well you should be fine. She is kind and cares for her student and will listen to your concerns. Study and participate and she will like you. She has pop quizes on some of the early stories you read but they are quite easy. Prepare for final.

Dr. Wilcox is a wonderful, encouraging professor. She grades tough, but is not out to fail. She gives easy quizzes on readings that are easy to pass as long as you do the reading. She prepares you well for in class essays. She's funny in her own type of way, and tries her best to try and make the class fun (even thought English 1101 is just boring all around). Lots of extra credit and class participation.

Dr. Wilcox is amazing! I was dreading this ENG 2111 class but she was so sweet and helpful the whole semester, came out with an A. She likes to give pop quizzes so you need to read the material and understand what's going on in it. Anything she writes on the board write down and be sure to study it for your midterm and final. We only had 2 papers

Dr. Wilcox is truly one of the best teachers I have had the pleasure of meeting. If you are going to take her class, the library will be your friend as reading is essential. Wilcox is a teacher who is ready to teach you what you need to succeed. As for personality, She is soft-spoken with some wit, so be prepared to listen to her words of wisdom.

Although she is a tough tough TOUGH grader. She explains EVERYTHING you need to know, But you HAVE to do it all! If you do not put everything she asked for in your paper the highest you will get is a D. I loved the class, she cares, she is willing to work with you. Oh, you also have a mandatory meeting with her to discuss every paper you write.

Her grading is ridiculous. She'll tell you something is wrong & you correct it on the next essay then she tells you your original way was right. She does give a few extra quiz grades for attending class so be there everyday! Also, do all the reading, she has pop quizzes (easy if you read the material). Made an A in the class... barely.

To be totally honest, she was very boring and was never 100% clear on assignments nor homework. She grades really hard,as if us learning students a professional novel writers. She is sweet, but i wouldn't recommend her unless you like to struggle and worry about if your going to pass or fail!!!
