what a guy! seriously will make your life so much better. he's funny, personable, caring, he's like the grandfather we all want. class is easy and I HATE math but I never dreaded showing up to HIS class. he gives great study guides, and tells you EXACTLY what will be on each exam. Textbook is free, so how much better could it get? he's amazing.

I had him a couple years. The guy is an absolute angel. I took the course before with a different teacher, failed. Took it with him, but I also failed that too. I was CCP at the time and took everything for granted. He really did teach me a lot and tried to help me out, but I was young and dumb. I wish I could go back and apologize...

I cannot say enough good things about this man. He truly is the saint of college algebra at Lakeland. He is a very fair grader and gives great study guides (for the final its amazing) and areas with homework to improve your grade. He is also one of the kindest people ever and very accommodating. Rich is a great guy. I nearly failed his class, I passed by 1%. I struggled terribly and attended tutoring 5+ times per week. Worst semester of my life. But he always tried to make me feel better and set aside his personal time for me when he should have been with his mother, helping me understand the subject. Kind.

Amazing guy! Best math teacher I've ever had. He made everything simple instead of making it more difficult like teachers I've had in the past. You can tell that he loves to be in class and if you need something repeated or clarified, he is more than happy to give another example or explain it more thoroughly. Do the homework and ask questions.

Honestly he was the sweetest man in the world and you can tell he is really passionate about what he is teaching. However, do your homework! You're grades will be awful otherwise. The only way you can do poorly in this course is if you don't apply yourself.

AWESOME! Goes out of his way to make it easy for you. Only assigns problems that you will need to know for test on hw. Reviews for tests and offers his time whenever needed. Gives easy HW assignments on problems you already did in class for extra pts. He is always smiling and just really loves his job. I will never forget him.

Very good professor. Clearly shows interest in the topic, and is overall a nice dude. Would definitely recommend to people who are unsure/not good at math because Professor Basich is very willing to help in and outside of class. The final is just like the review, and all the other tests are straightforward and easy.

Mr. Basich is a great teacher who really shows a love for teaching math. He takes time to answer questions in and out of class and helps you out as much as he can with understanding what is expected of you on the tests and final. If I needed another higher math class I would definitely be taking it with him. He also gives extra credit ;-)

I'm TERRIBLE at math,I don't know what I would have done w/o Basich. He's thorough&goes at a reasonable pace when breaking down the problems. Basich is compassionate, he understands a lot of people don't get math! I took 3 of his math classes, he never ever made me feel stupid. Connects w/ all students, good or bad @ math. He= gift from God.
