The Lab doesn't relate to the lectures at all. He's very nice and helpful, if you can understand him... He mumbles a lot and goes off on rabbit trails. DON'T miss class and READ THE BOOK!

Prof Bady was tough, but always willing to answer questions and explain anything. I am an education major and I thought I wouldn't pass, but I bugged him with questions and went to class and everything was fine

He is one of the few science professors that I actually like. I hate science, but he makes the labs easy to understand and he helps if you can't figure something out. He also has the answers at the front of the class if you're not sure if your findings are accurate. I like him.

I was scared to death to take this class by reading the comments on here but he ended up being my favorite teacher at Marshall so far. He cares about you learning, he always keeps you up to date on your grade, and hes understanding about personal problems. I love him and would recomended him to anyone as long as you plan on trying hard in the class

This professor will work you but he's really not as bad as previous people have stated. I was really worried about going into lab with him, but it wasnt bad at all. If you need help and go to him after class he definitely will help you. I was late twice and he caught me up on everything in the lab.

first off dr bady is hard but he will work with you. everyone seem to forget that all classes are not easyh. dr bady does make the work harder than it should, but at least you get your money worth. i enjoyed h is class and scheduled my classes around him for ps 110

I have had both of the science teachers,Bady and Adkins.As far as their teaching style goes,I prefer Bady.I am not very good in science but I made better grades in Bady's class.It is not the teachers that makes the class impossible.The class is a hard class and you have to study A LOT!You will pass as long as you're willing to put forth the effort.

The worst professor I have ever had! Do not take him. He hates the fact that we education majors dont take science as seriously as he does. Although he occassionally will try to help you out. It was a riduculous class

This professor is the worst I have ever had. He assigns tons of homework everyday, and all of it is busy work. He is crazy and he won't help you at all. I always get good grades in my classes, but this class was my first C, and that was after working my butt off. I was definitely not the only one struggling. Avoid if at all possible!!!

Pros: He tries really hard to get students to learn the material. He's pretty helpful if you don't understand. Cons: I was insulted sometimes about the way he talks about his students. "We'd be doing this in a much more complicated way if you guys were science majors." Yes, I know this is watered down science but not all education majors are idiots

DO NOT TAKE BADY! Trust me! This man is ridiculous. He HATES teaching his class (said so himself). He gives a TON of homework. Makes fun of you if you have questions. Will not help you out of class. Over half his class failed his 2nd test and he even went off on people for having jobs and said they shouldn't work so they can do more in his class.

Dr. Bady is not a bad guy.. However he is a bad teacher. He talks about stuff in class that has nothing to do with the quizes or tests.. He is not very clear on what he wants. I am good a science and this was easy science but I didnt do well.. Even though I understood the concepts what he teaches is not the the quizes or tests

He his NOT a good professor. I would NOT tell anyone to take him. He never tells you what is going to be on the test, we spend our entire class going over homework and he never really teaches. He wants everyone to ask questions all the time. You do a lot of extra work for nothing. AVOID AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. Sorry professor.

Kind of a hard class but aren't all labs? The tests were easier than what I thought they would be. Go to the review and it will be helpful. Usually there for an hour and a half to do the labs so it sucks.

This was Dr. Bady's 2nd time teaching the course, and he still was not sure what he was doing. We never had a grading scale to go by and kind of made up one as we went. The class is relatively easy, but attendance is manditory. Also, he spends a lot of time (too much in my opinion) on the differences between a heliocentric and geocentric universe.
