Visit his office regularly and you can sorta prove you know more than your test scores indicate, this bumped me up a letter grade for sure. Thought I had a D+ but when I got my final grade I had a B+. I remember a 9/100 was considered a C. Good luck, I think this class was where most EE's drop out of the program, less than half the class actually make it to the end.

He is hard to listen to in class because he is so mono tone and boring. Homework is hard and his tests are impossible. He curves them but its stupid because no one learns. Everybody fails the class but he puts everyone in the C range.

I would prefer a video tape of his class. So boring. He knows his stuff, but is probably the worst presenter...monotone. He grades ont he curve. You flunk tests and hope everyone else did and can get a C that way, but it is the worst way to learn the stuff. About average engineer type instructor.

gotta love those plaid shirts! really hard tests and homework. lets you use notes/books, but there isn't enough time on the tests to use them! class notes are pretty helpful, but you gotta know where to look for reference.
