Professor Bullock was extremely helpful throughout this course and gave useful tips as well. It was very group-based and you had many chances to improve your writing either by asking people or the Professor. He uses the field guide a lot and it's very helpful throughout the course. You can tell he cares about making sure your writing is up to par.

Nice person to talk to but awful at teaching anything. Don't but the book. there is nothing there that anyone with a 5th grade education doesn't know. He is extremely boring and talks about nothing for the entire class. If you don't agree with his topic of choice then he will give you a bad grade. You'll learn nothing in this class. Dont take him

Professor Bullock is an excellent teacher. Many people think he is difficult, but he tries to make his students become better writers. If you write according to HIS guidelines that he provides, you will have no problems in his class.

I love english, but I made a huge mistake by taking him. He thinks that he knows everything that there is to know about english just because he has written a book or two. He always talks down to students and does not know how to help you with papers. I would never take him again.

so unclear, if you don't write about something that he enjoys he'll give you a bad grade. rambles on for 2 hours about useless info. probably one of the worst teachers i've ever had. He wrote his own book which did not help me. You are better off taking English with a TA or different Prof.

Easy class if you can stand his fifty minute tirades about nothing. Very liberal. He uses that stupid handbook for English, why? b/c he is the one that wrote it. Take someone else unless your an english major, it's not worth the endless speeches.

Dr. Bullock is an amazing prof. His class was my very first in college, and I loved it. He challenges his students in their writing, but is extremely fair. I would HIGHLY suggest taking his class over a GTA's.
