Richard was easily one of my favourite professors. He is engaging and knowledgeable, wrote the textbooks and to anyone studying international affairs or economics, the material is really quite riveting (not even sarcastic, it is really interesting stuff).

Comment:

Dr. Carson's online comparative economics class is very informative. As a professor, he grades fairly and gives great example questions to prepare you for the tests. I would highly recommend this class to anyone who would like a brief history of economic evolution, as well as comparisons between the systems.

He teaches by using examples which are the exact same questions on the exam. The midtern is always the hardest. Easy to get a A+ (lots of bonus marks) the only thing is that the lectures ore DRY.... I think he is retired

Lectures were okay, seems good at first, but mid term came completely out of left field and 70% of it was not even covered in class. Provided no examples comparable to the difficulity on the mid-term. If you can not do the algerbra, you have no chance. This years midterm was MUCH harder than last years midterm he told us to study from.
