Pretty chill freshman class. not very hard, not much reading. a few papers but most of them are easy to do well on. he tries to be funny but its a morning class for my class so its not an easy crowd.

He is very understanding and caring. Super helpful. Easy to understand. Makes bad jokes but they always make me laugh because of how awful they are. Really nice guy. Easy grader. Highly recommend.

Comment:

Dahm is a great Professor. Disregard any comments of him not being good, those people probably did bad in class cause they just didnt care about the class. Dahm is very caring and understanding. Its very easy to get extensions on papers if you need them. He is NOT a hard grader. He doesnt give exams or a final. LOVED HIM! Highly recommend him.

At first I really hated him, he makes awful jokes every day, repeats himself to the point of redundancy, and talks all the time, even when you're supposed to be having time to get stuff done. He lectures most days about the same things, but he's really nice. He's very easy to get extensions out of, he's very helpful,m and he gives great feedback.

Okay, so this guy has me split. He's very different than anyone I've ever met. He sounds like the voice you read a Hairy Potter book in. He does make jokes that tender souls wouldn't like. Aside from that, he does give good feedback-when you can read his handwriting. Also he's very easy to get extensions out of. VERY EASY.

Nice guy, but makes some pretty messed up comments. Constantly repeats himself, expect to hear him repeat a horrible joke 3-4 times within one meeting. He never stops talking, even when he gives you a "free period to work" - he will NOT stop talking. He honestly did help me and is helpful when composing drafts.

His suicide jokes aren't funny. Constantly rambles. Hard to learn from. Don't text in his class if you don't want to be humiliated. I felt like I taught myself everything because he's so hard to learn from.

He restates the same thing in different words all the time. He does not make any sense half the time and when he takes attendance he sticks his nose up in the air and his eyes go to the ceiling and man that just really annoys me.

Repeats himself a million times about things that don't matter, but when it comes to being specific about what does matter: doesn't say a word. He is very confusing and isn't clear on what he wants for the papers. Also, you don't know your grades on papers until you start the next one, and by then it's too late. WOULD AVOID HIS CLASS AT ALL COST!!!

Get out now! I thought I was doing great in the class, got checks on all my papers, but he doesnt put grades on blackboard or hand them out, and the week before dead week he emails me and says I'm failing the class. He said it was his last chance to inform me but he hadnt tried before. Get out.

He will give the same lecture multiple days in a row, make jokes that aren't funny, and give the same analogies for everything that don't make sense but will repeat many times in the same class. Also makes you hand in a #2 to a paper without giving back your #1 so you can fix it or see what needs fixed then will dock you for his lack of interest.

I have not learned a thing in this class or used the text books, so if you don't have the money don't bother renting or purchasing them. He repeats his lectures day after day and does not connect with the students in fact he usually looks at the ceiling when talking to someone. You won't really know what is needed for papers until he reviews them

He is probably the most terrible teacher to ever have. Having received an A in Eng 151, I figured my writing skills were good. According to him, my writing skills were terrible. How I managed to get a B in that class, I will never know. He is a pushover with dates. That's the only good thing about him. Steer clear of this guy, or prepare to suffer.

This teacher is nuts. It's his idea and his way you have to follow. I thought that my paper would be about MY ARGUMENT. In reality, to him, no it's not. No one should take him. If in his class and it's to late to back out, hold your breath and just deal with his stupid twitches and attitude problem. I don't know why he is a teacher. DON'T TAKE HIM!
