Although he is a really nice guy, he is extremely boring. I hated going to this class. The textbook is useless, and the labs are a joke seeing as you don't even do the lab yourself. Get a study file and use it liberally. He hardly changes his tests, so a study file is your best friend and makes the class super easy.

The first half of this class was extremely boring and confusing. Once we got into the labs, the class became more interesting, but the lab reports were time consuming. It is relatively easy to get a good score on the lab reports as long as you make sure you include everything he tells you to include on the handouts.

This class seems like a lot of work. However, if you obtain a study file this class is a joke. Dr. D. is a nice guy but is very confusing while in class. Get a study file and have smooth sailing the whole semester.

one of the worst I've ever had. never comes to class, never has office hours, and expects us to know it all? He clearly doesn't have passion to teach and simply doesn't care about the student. avoid at all costs

Seriously, Dr. Deller isn't all that bad. He is easy to get along with and will answer your questions if you ask. It is true that he talks a lot, and his tests are the same every year, but it is pretty easy to get an A in ME 101. Just do what he says, ask questions if need be, and you'll do fine.

Abysimal Class. Lectures at the huge class in monotone. Tests are hard because they are highly specific and the material is so boring and easy that no-one ever actually studies it. Great as an advisor and is actually very helpfull in person.
