Great guy, very knowledgeable & helpful, very fair in grading assignments. Lectures are a bit dull, but this was a theory class and theory can be dull. Has a very subtle and dry sense of humor which lightened up things once in a while. Class involved a lot of reading and written responses which was good practice for tests.

He seems like a nice guy but is sooooooooooooooooooooo boring I couldnt even last one minute in his class. There are quizes every day on the reading which sucks so you have to do the reading. He is soooo boring!(did I say that already?) Only an OKAY class if you are very very very interested in antro which I was not, especially after this class. St

Although every class was just like the one before it, the nature of the course was interesting enough to keep my interest. Readings were ok, and the required quiz every class forced me to read and, in the end, helped my grade. He was very willing to help, and seemed to enjoy and encourage talking to him about current work during office hours.

This guy really knows his stuff. Even though he has a voice that can put you to sleep theh material is so intriguing if your into it. The readings were good for the most part maybe one or two were boring. The tests weren't difficult either.

Oh, Richard Dillon. He was my advisor. He's cute in his disheveled little way. He does speak in a monotone, but he's really sweet and helpful and doesn't belittle students, unlike Buechler.

Incredibly nice and knowledgeable. A little dry, but then again I have yet to meet an Anthro professor anywhere who isn't. He has his funny moments though!
