A very sincere and helpful professor for writing. If you seek him out, he will teach you loads about improving your technique and honing your skills. He's hilarious in class and if you don't care and don't ask for help you will still get an A, but don't waste a great professor like that!

Perhaps one of the most inspiring professors that I have had while at Syracuse. His constant self-analysis, social criticism, and judgment of the structued system of academia are real eye-openers. His class is akin to a group therapy session. Highly recommend. Sometimes it's just worth going to Dubin's class to sit back, and listen.

nice guy and all. you'll get an a, not much effort, besides writing reflections (he reads - i think) no penalty for not submitting them or final paper - people didn't n got an A. i love the guy - but i came to college to be challenged not to get an easy A for showing up. the class cld have been great. it was terrible-like farcical group therapy
