Over a 4 semester span, I saw a lot of improvement in his teaching style. I went from a B the first semester I had him to an A by the last. He has added a TA to proof papers and give test reviews which is a major help. He still has tangents, but is a very interesting and intelligent professor.

I like Finnegan courses because you get out of them what you put into them. If you want to read you can, if you don't you don't have to. If you seek his help you'll get it, if you don't you won't get it. The workload is fine, he knows what he is talking about, and he is a great guy. I recommend him.

Really hate this man. Spent half of every class on toilet stars. does NOT read papers you hand in. randomly assigns grades. If your a good student, forget this guy - he gives everybody Bs. If you are a sucky student, come on in. Welcome to B land. Will never take him again. Also, kept us 30 mins AFTER class ended on several occasions.

There was an old man named Richard Finnegan, he had wiskers on his chinnegan.... Gotta love him though. Pretty easy class. All you have to do is show up (sometimes) and read (sometimes) and a B should NOT be hard to get, so imagine if you tried...Great guy, wish he was my grandfather!!

Ireland: He wrote the book, literally, and trust me, he wont let you forget it. Great professor!! Extremely fun class and his tangents were awesome! No matter what, if you do the work you at least get a B.
