Great professor. But get ready to READ READ and READ. Took him in the winter (3 weeks) 5 online quizzes and 5 discussion board questions. Questions were mostly from Chegg and for the discussion questions he gave news articles to resd and write 300 responce. Had to write an Agency Paper 3-4 pages . The final was short question and essay.

Professor Flanagan is a great professor. Just read the assigned text book chapters (strongly suggest reading the chapter summaries as well at the end of each chapter) & the articles he assigns to read and you will do fine. He has a ton of knowledge about public administration. He is helpful and hilarious. I would take him again.

Although the lectures are long and boring, he knows his stuff. He's a fun, caring guy and the tests are easy. Just make sure to show up, he reads mostly everything from the slides. One essay, two tests, one small quiz. I would recommend him, learning about politics is boring but he makes some interesting points.

As easy as his class is, it is boring as hell! I fell asleep twice. He is very forward with his republican-tongue and I didn't like that, he seemed manipulative. His teaching method sucks, he just sits down and narrates. Half of what he says isn't even literal. He jokes around a lot, which should be good but he's not clever with them so...lame!!

I love Professor Flanagan! He's approachable, funny, and loves talking with students. Very helpful, easygoing guy. Make sure you read for his class and do the assignments. An excellent professor, would definitely a class with him again.

AWESOME PROFESSOR. Probably one of the best in the whole department. He told me about an internship in Albany and got me in. It was AMAZING. Its paid, you live in albany and make unbelivable connections. I would take anything he teaches. Hes a tough grader, but fair. Do you work. He is a great guy.

Prof. Flanagan is really knowledgeable and very helpful. He allows paper rewrites sometimes and although he is a tough grader, he's generous in the end.
