Comment:

Dr. Fusco is a good teacher but an old-school picky grader of papers. That being said, if you can write well you will probably get a good grade. A lot of people think they're better writers than they actually are, so Fusco irks their soul. I didn't think he was that harsh. ALWAYS come to class and participate.

Dr. Fusco does well at going over assigned books and getting his point across in lectures. However, he did not express what he wants from students until the semester was almost over. He is an extremely hard grader but if you are prepared with the readings and listen during lectures it is not a hard class to pass.

Dr. Fusco is AMAZING! Don't listen to the static here, it's just from people who don't like to read or put any work in at all. Yeah, his grading is a little harsher than you are used to but it's because he wants you to learn. He is a cool guy with a lot of knowledge. Work hard, learn a lot about writing.

DO NOT TAKE HIM. He is on of the most hardest professors I have ever had. His lecture is super boring. His essays are way to crazy. Will never give you an A no matter what.

SO HARD. He simply does not give A's no matter how many times you meet with him. His lectures are horrible and you will be scrambling to take notes for 50 mins straight. The essays prompts are just laughable because they are legit impossible. I would run if I were you. Any other english teacher would be better.

Fusco, was interesting to say the most. He is probably one of the smartest guys out there, but his lectures were so dry. For a GEP class, he grades WAAY too hard. I can guarantee you this guy has never given an A in his class. He has vague grading criteria and the books/papers he assigns make you want to rip your hair/eyes out. Avoid him if you can

The class is very boring and he is a very harsh grader. I am an english major never received lower than a B+ before I took his class. Makes extremely complicated and long writing assignments. There's no point in buying the books you'll finish them in a week pdf or renting is the way to go.

Most. Boring. Professor. Ever. If you will. DO NOT TAKE. In essence, he is a bad professor. I would rather watch milk pasteurize than go to his class. He tears up your papers with no advice, just insults. You have to show up & being more than 5 mins late1 absence. As if you need another reason to say screw it if you oversleep a tad.

Dr. Fusco definitely wants you to succeed and makes you work for it. GO TO WRITING CENTER. If you elaborate on your essays you're fine. QUOTES QUOTES QUOTES! Try not to miss classes because his quizzes are on what he says not what you read. Would not recommend but would not avoid either.

He is boring, but it's not hard. He really teaches you how to write and you just need to give him what he's looking for. The tests are essays and the quizzes are based on reading and his lectures, but usually open note/book. I would recommend him. "IN ESSENCE", if you put in a decent amount of work, you will get a good grade

I had him for texts and contexts and hated it. He's so boring and is really picky about answers on quizzes and midterms and papers. He's the only person who didn't like my writing and I had to comepletely change my style. Read what he assigns and listens, his quizzses are half on what he says and half on what you read. I had fusco for text and context. He was very boring. I had him at 4 on tuesdays and thursdays and brought coffee to class so i wouldn't fall asleep. Not that hard. Read the poems for the quizzes and have examples ready for the essays. But seriously BORING.
