Worst teacher I've had in my life.Simply reads his powerpoint presentations.He has a hard time understanding questions asked, both physically(hearing aid) and conceptually.You can tell he knows his material, but he sucks at teaching it.U can see him lose his train of thought. wicked boring too.I'd rather skip a semester of chem than have him again!

He is my advisor, and I had him for Lab last year. He is not the best advisor, 'cause he doesn't know the ins and outs of administrative paperwork. But as a lab professor I found him willing to explain the concept patiently, and in different ways, until I understood it. Now if only he'd get rid of that combover...

Teaches mostly problems, any general information he just reads to you. His tests are hard but you just need to review the problems from class thoroughly. Also, it is hard to ask him a question and get a response because his hearing is limited. He is old(nice guy tho), and not an effective teacher.

awful teacher. great help one-on-one, but theres only so many times you can get that kind of help that he should be giving in the classroom. takes too much time to do that. nice grading curve for the final. can communicate during class, maybe a promotion can get him a state of the art hearing aid...

He isnt as awful as some make him out to be. Very boring, dry, and doesnt always cover material thoroughly. Hard to ask questions because he cant hear you since he is ancient. Tough tests, but uses a good curve for your final average in the class. REALLY helpful one on one. Nice guy.

I have him for both lecture and lab. I didn't like him at first, but he really cares about his students. He may seem like a hard ass, but he really knows his stuff. Instead of spitting out information he expects his students to take the initiative.

he expects you to be psychic and achieve things through osmosis. he goes over a problem and doesnt tell you how to get from one step to the other and when you ask where did you get that from he snaps and yells at you and makes you feel stupid
