His linguistics class is great. He's really funny and concerned that everyone in the class understands and enjoys themselves. American Lit is harder. He's a tough paper grader but very willing to sit down with you and discuss what you need to improve on. He doesn't put up with bull**** papers.

HE IS THE WORST TECAHER I HAVE EVER HAD. HE IS SO BIASED, THE QUIZES ARE EASY IF YOU READ, BUT WHEN IT COMES TO THE PAPERS THIS GUY IS A JERK. HE'S VERY OPINIONATED, AND DOESN'T STAND FOR ANYONE ELSES IDEAS. MOST OF THE TIME WE REPEATED WHAT HE SAID.

He is one of those professors that want to be known as hard. You have quizes on the reading every Monday, which count much for your grade. Two big papers, and he grades hard on them. He is very detailed on tests and quizes. I would not recomend him.
