He assigns homework every night and although it is easy, it is extremely pointless and repetitive. During class, he will call on you and challenge you. Also, he is an extremely hard grader its very difficult to get 100%. Before you can turn in an assignment, you have to visit the writing center. Take this class with a friend, you do peer reviews.

Assignments are weird and seem pointless but they are fun and keep the students attention. For example, I had to make a suitcase for my one project to represent me traveling to the beach and it seems odd that I did that in an english class but it was very fun! Make sure you do all these assignments, there are not tests! I liked him as a teacher!

I enjoyed his class. He cares about his students and has creative assignments. All papers can be revised and turned into a final portfolio. He can make socially awkward comments at times but he is genuinely a nice and caring professor. If you have the chance to take him then go for it!

Probably my favorite professor at Clarion. He knows what he is talking about and motivates you to be creative. I loved going to his class even though it was early in the morning. He helps you revise your papers; he was very nice and very helpful. TAKE HIM!

it seems like you have aton of assignments, but dont worry, you can revise all of them as many times as you want before the final portfolio. if you placed directly into this course you will do great. if you did good in high school writing, you will do just fine in here. do your work and you will do fine!

Excellent prof. He does NOT pick on people. Do your work and you have nothing to worry about. He is easy to talk to and really gets you thinking. I can honestly say that I learned alot from him. He's always willing to help and has a great sense of humor. And yes, he's very hot!

Great prof! He always lends a helping hand. The only time he'll pick on you is if nobody responds to his questions. If you have to take Writing II, definitely try to get into Dr. Lane's course. You write maybe once or twice a week, but you aren't graded until the final portfolio. He's great so take him if you can...

I enjoyed him! He really gets you interested and thinking about topics. Writing is hard in general so the class is not going to be easy! He tells you what needs to be improved. I definately learned a lot from him and my last paper was perfect which was awesome!

I can honestly say I liked his sense of humore but I always thought that I had a talent for writing well- untill I took this class. There is NO professor for this course that I would recommend. You will have a crapload of frustrations no matter what. It's not easy.
