Dr. Walker is one (if not THE) best prof I've ever had at U of C. He goes through the material at such a good pace and makes all the concepts very clear to understand. His tests are pretty straight forward since he provides a well laid out study guide and if you ever need to visit him in his office, his hours are VERY flexible. CAn't wait for 260!

AMAZING. He goes through the material at such a perfect pace that you will definitely understand the concepts and not feel overwhelmed. He is funny and uses helpful demonstrations. Just an overall great person. Highly recommend.

Very patient, understanding, explains things multiple ways, responds well to questions. At the same time, he is aware of the variety of bio education in the class, and if you have covered this in other courses, he will not get offended if you sit in his class and read a book. good prof.

Probably one of the best profs I've had. The material is fairly complicated, but he does a fantastic job of making sure you understand. His random clapping in the middle of class also helps you to pay attention

So he is definitely an AWESOME professor. I'm a first year, and he is by far the best lecturer I have ever had. He's way easier to follow than Hisey, he actually takes the time to repeat things and he doesn't rush his lectures. He makes sure you understand and he honestly seems like such a sweet fellow. 10/10!

I am not surprised to see his extremely high rating on this site-- he is really awesome. A little grumpy in person, but in lecture, he is clear, and helpful. Gives out great notes and study guides were AMAZINGLY helpful, but you must attend lecture to make sense of everything-- textbook is not enough as material is a little different from lecture.

his classes were really fun and his constant notes woke me up too during 8 am classes. He tests you straight out of his lecture notes, so no need to buy the textbook. Personally I did not buy one and borrowed an anatomy book and was fine with this course :)

He was the sweetest man, definitely my favourite prof in university so far. He was extremely helpful with answering questions and was always so positive. He had a love for what he does and that made it very contagious. He made early classes worth going to.
