Comment:

Dr. Lee is amazing. He makes every student feel listened to, he can really relate to everyone and is really great at teaching. At the beginning of the semester, you do have to read quite a few sections from the textbook and write a response to them, but this helps with the 3 essays that you will complete. Everything relates within the class.

Dr. Lee is a great professor. The class meets regularly for the first 2 or 3 weeks but not many times after that. There are only three papers in total& there is work done in class that matters, u also have to read some short essays/answer questions, but its easy. If you pay attention, listen to his feedback, and actually try, you'll do well.

Comment:

Fun, intelligent, and engaging but he often speeds through lectures. You have to do a lot of reading on your own. The tests were online but very specifically worded. The writing assignments were sometimes challenging but short. I can see how some might find him condescending but he's a nice guy who wants you to work for your grade.

by far the worst professor I have taken. spoken out of serious honesty considering my grade in his class. completely insensitive and rude. good grades but I feel as if he didn't even read my papers. too busy doing his own research the class meets 6 Times all semester -good part. Learned nothing. Very rude. overall not worth the A to be belittled

Awful. He helps you if you ask but he does it in a way that makes you feel like an idiot. He doesn't have a problem with humiliating you in class and he has no sensitivity towards how his actions or words can hurt. The work load is insane and he thinks that his class is the one and only class you're taking. I 100% regret taking this class.

Dr. Lee is the best professor I've ever had.He drives his students to not merely learn the material to pass a test or compose a good paper, but to want to master it for themselves. I failed to be bored by his class, not that he covered "fluffy" material. His class is challenging and rewarding. Be prepared to work but learn a ton.

Dr. Lee is the man. Though all of his courses are challenging, I've taken something out of all of them. He's a lot fo fun and his lectures are very engaging. He's also extremely approachable and willing to help with any issues you have. His classes may come with a heavy workload, but he's a light grader. Great guy.

Hate going to this class. He is a funny and interesting guy but the material is hard to understand and he talks way too fast. No tests, only a midterm and final which seem a lot easier than they actually are. One major project throughout the semester, takes a lot of work but you have all semester to do it. 2 review article papers which he's a tough grader for.

Professor Lee was incredibly insensitive to students' personal needs and publicly humiliated a girl in my class. I was shocked to find that he was so rude to his students, I had only heard great things about him. I would definitely not take his classes if you can avoid it. Save yourself the confusion and misery of studying under him.

This was insane. Pages of reading every night, incomprehensible subject-matter, and it was still probably the best class I've ever taken. Everything was on Angel, but make sure that you buy the textbook, especially the Bressler one. You'll be using it a lot. Take this class with him, but warned that it is truly difficult.

jack london class: he's a real nice intelligent man. but it's boring as hell. heavyyy reading. annoying journal entry thing-don't put it off! 5, 3pg essays but they are due after thanksgiv break. take home midterm-hard grader. u have to lead a discussion with a group-easy-he talks most of the time. u watch 1 movie. i would say B for the aver joe.

Has a bit of an elitest attitude which makes it hard to relate to him. He assigns so much work and doesn't really care if your having trouble with the workload - he'll just tell you you're lazy. I would have learned alot more if he'd let us take our time on the writing assignments. Inflexable, if its wirtten in the sylabus then its the word of god
