Great professor- was put off the first day of class because of his unusual style, but quickly came to the realization that he was a hilarious great teacher. Class was very entertaining and I always learned something new. Great guy- hopefully will take another one of his classes in the future!

Probably one of the most amazing people I have ever met. Kind, unique, entertaining. Takes individual time with each student; helped me realize that teaching wasnt for me before I made a serious mistake. Take him if you ever have the opportunity! You will learn a lot about the subject, and he will likely help you see a lot about yourself, as well!

He really knows his stuff. He knows all the politics and ins and outs of education, and unlike the other proffessors, is not afraid to tell you how it is. LISTEN to him. He is very smart and really knows his stuff. He wants everyone to succeed. He is also very funny and entertaining. He has so many crazy stories! His classes are a riot. Definently the most valuable courses I took were the ones he taught.

Doc was my advisor and fought for me when no one else would. He is a wise man and I mean wise. I should have listened to him about the tenure situation. I could have made a bigger impact on the students if I had hung in there, but along comes my big mouth which he warned me about. I am sorry to see he is no longer teaching grad courses. Elmira lost a wonderful graduate teacher when he left to do undergraduate work only. I was truly saddened. Glasses raised to Doc. I will not forget you.
