Most boring class ever. He is a great guy, super nice, but his lectures seemed practically pointless. I'm sure I could've gotten something out of the class if I really tried, but I was always too bored to pay close attention. I could've missed every day of class and still managed an A.

second half of BOM. SUPER boring lectures. Often would go off on random things then the lst 5mintues of class try to squeeze EVERYTHING in for that day. The TESTS would hae like 20 questions asking specific questions about BOM characters and we NEVER discussed that in class so most people missed those questions.

This class is incredibly boring; he seems like a pretty nice guy, but I don't know if I've learned a single thing all semester. Boring lecturer, seems like very little preparation for class, meandering conversations, boring voice, etc. Midterm test had 90 questions, had to know random BOM characters...

I loved this class. I learned something new every day, and Bro McClendon took a personal interest in each of his students' lives. He's a great guy, and an awesome teacher. The spirit was present every day in his class.

he's so easy! i slept through this class all semester and easily managed an a. just study the stuff he has you highlight in the packet and know the bom characters. everyone gets a's on the papers too.

very easy class, it was sometimes very hard to stay awake during lecture, but Bro. McClendon is a super nice guy! We had a total of 4 quizzes (which were open note), and 2 papers (which pretty much everyone got an A on). Bro. McClendon really focuses on conference talks so really read these (for the tests and the final!)

This class was pretty much a waste of my time. The lectures were so boring I fell asleep everytime. The tests were ok. But, I think that the thing that needed to be improved the most in this class is that we talked most of the time about the importance of the Book of Mormon, instead of the content.

I learned a lot, but it wasn't a stressful class. The tests are super easy, but the lectures are always very insightful and interesting. We learn about all the basics, but more in depth, which is better (in my opinion) than trying to reinvent the gospel. Overall, great class!

Comment:

Professor McClendon was a very understanding teacher. He was very nice and his class was very easy. All you do is print the lecture slides and the tests are given off of those. Other times, it's just common sense. I really enjoyed this class. Easy class.
