Overall interesting material, some of it gets kind of dry, explains everything clearly. Must go to class to get everything, take the time to fill out the study guides and you know the exams (4 total, 10 short answer and 2 essays each). Not a bad class, relates a lot to global markets/economics. Overall great professor, always willing to help.

The class is pretty much easy no papers just exams which are identical to the study guide! If you take the time to read and fill in the study guide its an automatic A! But be sure to attend lecture because he throws in lots of question specifically from the lecture. Pretty Good professor.. info is cut and dry. Just not energetic

ick!!! i hate this class! it is extremely BORING! meltz has no enthusiasm whatsoever. You can do well on the tests if you answer the study guide questions (although it might take you 24hrs to complete) the study guide is basically EVERYTHING. i can't even put myself through the torture of attending class!

Comment:
Boring and redundant. He repeated the same jaunt about midterms every day for the first six classes. Easy course, though. The study guides guarantee an A. And he's not such a bad guy, just extremely uninteresting. He explained the definition of the word "ideology" for 10 minutes.

Pretty interesting and really easy. The study guides are the tests almost word for word.

overall a good guy. willing to help you out, very flexible but you have to show up for class. he remembers faces. great & interesting class, very up to date. sometimes a little too mellow for early morning (bring coffee). tries to let all arguments be heard, regardless of his own opinion.

Very good teacher. First midterm average was a 91. a 90 freakin one. Write clear, concise answers even if they don't flow well. he'll appreciate it and you'll be rewarded. Even a total BS on a 5 point question and he might knock off 2 pts

I have no opinion on Meltz because he has no opinion on anything. But that's kind of a controversial thing I just said. We're not reinventing the horse here. What I'm trying to say is, he's a funny guy and a decent professor.
