Ochem--hands down the worst prof I've ever had at FSC. Half our class was there b/c they failed last semester. You basically have to teach yourself from the book. He doesn't know how to answer questions and just says if we did the hw, we'd know the answer to the question already. My advice? Take ochem at Mass Bay, hopefully it's better there.

Organic chemistry is not easy, but he makes it as simple as possible. He is very clear in his teaching and lets you know at least a week ahead of time for tests (and goes over his grading system the first day). Quizzes are generally every friday. I did every homework problem he assigned and did very well on the tests. Lab helps boost grades too.

Such a difficult professor. You could basically never go to class and just do all (read-ALL.) of the homework problems. 2-3 questions on quizes but 11 pages of exam. it doesn't add up. Theres no other organic teacher at framigham, so my advice is do ALL. of the problems in the book.

He is a really great person. At times he can be a little hard to understand but he is hilarious once you get to know him. Overall the class was difficult for me but he answers questions and tries to be clear about the material that you will be tested on. Weekly quizzes only 2-3 questions long be advised***

Really nice guy that has a lot of office hours so he is always available for extra help. Do ALL the homework problems assigned (like 100 per chapter) because the exam is right from the homework!

He doesnt teach, he lets you learn the stuff for your self by either reading the book, which is also horrible, or to somehow figure it out for yourself. When the average grade is an F then I think that you have done something wrong as a teacher.
