I graduated Roger Williams 2 years ago and I will always concider Mr. Potter one of the best teachers that I have ever had even though I put a lot of effort into his class and did not receive an A! Mr. Potter challenges you to think critically about historical events. He is friendly, interesting and informative. Highly recommended!

Comment:

Dr. Potter is a great teacher. Many people criticize his teaching style,but I've found that if you do the readings and carefully listen to his lectures you will do fine in the class. You have to be willing to do the work, which is pretty fair to me. His class is not an "easy A" - but theres more satisfaction from a grade when you work for it.

Richard Potter is the greatest professor of all time! I had him 15 years ago and I am now a professor. He inspired me personally and professionally. He is a beautiful soul, whose influence has never left me.He's funny too, and I don't mean looking.

Potter is very smart, he knows his stuff well and really makes u think in his classes. His tests aren't too bad as long as u do all of the readins and you study for them...his essays are open book. I highly recomend him if u want to learn.

Potter is a great guy, he's very nice and is always willing to help. He's always available for extra help as well. His classes are hard, you learn alot, but the tests are killers, gotta make sure you do all the reading. Overall, Potter is a great teacher!

Prof Potter could be teh most brilliant man on campus, when you are in his class you are forced to think and forced to learn he has a way of teaching unlike any other professor's he engages the class but his tests are tricky

He knows all of his material and presents it in a clear manner. He demands a lot of work out of his students but will answer any question you have. His tests are all open book, essay. Don't try to guess the questions, you will never know what to expect.
