The books used for this class were all written by the Roberts family, so they are lacking in content, academia, and common sense. As a professor, President Roberts was not helpful and had shallow arguments to support his points. The books are terrible with awkward formatting and grammatical errors.

Charismatic Life should be renamed to Richard Roberts Life, since ALL they talk about is President Roberts and his family. The class is very boring and pointless but also very easy. It definately can help pull up your GPA.

The class' sole purpose is to indoctrinate students with word of faith beliefs. GOD IS NOT A VENDING MACHINE RICHARD!!!! It is hard to believe that this man took all the same theology courses I did and has nothing to show for it. There is more to Christianity than seed faith!

On the one hand this class was nice because I got to hear a lot from Richard & Lindsay about the university and why things are the way they are but on the other it was a terrible theology class. It doesn't hold a candle to systematic or any other theological class here on campus. Since you have to take it, just enjoy it. BTW, they change that class a lot each year so what you hear about the homework & tests may not be true for every year.

not an academic class, though I don't think it was ever intentioned to be. it was good to hear some of the history and method behind the university. it is clear that Richard does care about the university and the students, and his heart is after God. If you take the class knowing the intentions and heart behind it, it can be rather enjoyable.
