Comment:

Keep in mind this class is designed for all College of Ag students. So if youre a plant person you wont learn much but for the rest of we learned a great deal. He is a really great guy. The tests are mainly based on the practice exams. Show up to class for clicker points! Also the textbook is a must for the online quizzes.

Comment:

Fall 2017, Rosecrance switched from the University Wine book to a new book. It started with the class using the new book and then 3 weeks in, it switched to the old book. Had to go out and buy the old one as well. Seemed like they never finish switching over to the new book and just started the semester. They did apologize during the final exam.

He has no respect for time and will lecture over his given 50 minutes and insist he is "keeping you longer" like you are in high school. His tests are 60-70 questions long and the class periods are 50 minutes but insists you can stay longer to finish and assumes you don't have a class after his.

Class had more than 50 students which made it hard for him to actually teach what he wanted, I felt like I did not learn that much from him but through the materials that he provided and through lab. Without those I have no idea how anyone will pass this class. He goes way to fast during lecture, worst type of teaching I have seen

My third class with him. I always learn a lot! Moves fast, so keep up with reading and GO to class. Always interesting and all the field trips break up the time spent at a desk. Hard grader. I really worked for that A.

Took him for fruit and nut production and Ecology. He's pretty good. His classes always pass by really fast because he's really hyper. I learned a lot from his labs. He uses clickers, but he supplies them for you now so that's really nice! Study the weekly quizzes in order to do well on the tests.

Kinda dorky but an interesting class and fun because of all the vegetables you get to grow. Go to class and do the online quiz's , and you'll be home free. Remember to study your off quiz's for the midterms. Labs were mandatory but were mainly hands on. Recommend this class if you want to learn how to grow tomatoes.;)

I really enjoyed the lectures. He is very clear and helpful. He really tries to make the subject intresesting and is very enthusiastic about the subject. I found the quizzzes difficult. The gardens were great.
