One of the few professors of which I have had the privilege of attending a class who really motivates his students to work hard and enjoy doing it. The course material could have been dry if someone less qualified had taught it, but Professor Ryan really made me happy to study clinical psych and made me want to research the field further.

he is an amazing professor. i wasn't incredibly interested in the material, but he taught it very well. unfortunately this semester was his last sem teaching this class, but if he were to continue, i would highly recommend it!

Outstanding professor. He is one of the few professors with a class of 200 that can engage the entire auditorium. He has the ability to inspire. This may be the last semester he is teaching but i'm keeping my fingers crossed that he stays.

Professor Ryan is one of the best attributes to the UR Teaching staff. He is fresh, so intelligent, and is extremely helpful with exams. The material is hard not not impossible.
