In a large classroom he was difficult to hear and understand. His class is not easy and he expects you to think things through and figure out things for yourself. He assigns tons of reading. He asks more questions than he answers, but it forces you to analyze rather than regurgitate.

I once had this guy for Federal Jurisdiction, and actually ended up learning information useful for my practice. It is true that he does not set his politics aside, and he is quite full of himself.

He takes what should be an interesting subject and makes it unbelieveably painful. I'm not sure what the point of the class was. It wasn't to learn the Model Rules or ethics in general. He seemed more interested in telling us what his opinion was than the rules. Reading assignments seemed long and pointless.

Saphire is past his prime....if he had a prime. He has too high an opinion of himself, and has little control over the pace of class each day. Class consists of classmate's opinions on the topic of the day, as opposed to more focus on the Model Rules. We don't need a class entirely geared to the MPRE, but it *might* be helpful if it was mentioned.

This is the worst professor I have ever had. Ever. Between his random mumblings and his **** quizzes, I cannot stand this guy as a professor. Also, he does not teach anything worthwhile: while we should be learning about the MPRE, the toppic has not once been brought up in class. Avoid taking this professor if possible.
