Seto is literally the WORST physics professor at ucr. Does not explain concepts well. Confusing lectures. His midterm is 12 multiple choice questions only and the final is very difficult. He barely curves. Coming from a guy that got an A- and A in 2A/B, don't take seto for 2C. He will lower your gpa no doubt. If anything, wait an extra quarter.

Great professor and very nice (had him this last spring quarter). His exams are too short (i.e. for midterm minus 1 questionminus 10%). Curve is also very tight, not the best (i.e. need 85% for A-).

Start by saying I recieved a B, lowest of the 2C series. Seto is absolutely a horrible professor. It's honestly sad how UCR allows him to teach physics. First off he doesn't respond to any emails ( I sent him 2 important ones didnt get any response), his notes are so unorganized, and he literally just posted the letter grade W/O putting up scores

He is one of the worst professors ive had at UCR. For a core science class, he explains the material so poorly to the point where many students don't understand him. This should be the easiest of the 2C series. Also his midterms are only 10 multiple choice which is such a short exam and leaves no room for error. VERY HARD AND BAD CURVE. AVOID.

Not Very Helpful during lecture. Does not like to do a whole lot of problems during class. Confusing. Tries to be witty but isn't.

Seto was someone who inspired me to stay in Physics. His class will be easy as long as you keep up with the material and give your 110%. He was a great guy both inside and outside of class. He was incredibly humble and gave back the necessary feedback we would need to improve ourselves.

He's a hit-and-miss lecturer, but the class isn't centered around the lecture, so it's not too much of a problem. He's very willing to help his students out, and does his best to get a feel of how the class is doing.

Dr. Seto is one of the better professors I have ever had at UCR. He is very fair in all grading. He thoroughly cares about his students' progress, and wants to make sure everyone understands before he moves on. Homework wasn't too bad, and the tests were pretty easy since they were mostly multiple choice. do clickers and you'll be fine

Not the best professor in the world. Was out a total of 3 weeks during spring quarter. I get he was doing research, but we had several other professors "sub" for him which tried to teach us something different than what he was teaching. Not to mention, left out a lot of information in terms of cross product which would have helped in 2B

Had him for Quantum Mechanics a few years back. He was one of my better professors, although I didn't learn much, but that's probably because the subject was so difficult. He seemed genuinely interested in what he was teaching, although his online lecture notes were extremely convoluted.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. He is by far the worst professor ever to teach at any institute of higher learning. There's a reason no one shows up to class and that's b/c he should just quit teaching and stick to his nerdy research. His tests are ridiculously difficult. Save yourself the ulcer and take a different person.

Horrible teacher. Didn't really understand what he was talking about. He read right off of his powerpoint presentation that he did not even create himself. Sometimes due to short amount of time left he would rush through the powerpoint. It's pointless. He's kind of geeky, but not very helpful.

He doesn't know how to teach. He just reads straight from powerpoint which is pointless, we might as well just print out the lecture notes and teach it to ourselves. He should clarify the material, not copy teach from the book!
