Impossible grader. No chance of doing well even though this was my fourth year and taking first year electives. Extremely hard marker, and tests seem impossible... even when I re read the whole textbook twice and take notes her feedback was "read the textbook".

Textbook based teacher. Almost the entire course has the text as a crux. Clarity of teaching is minimal at best. Extremely difficult when compared to what is taught in class and read in the text.

She taught her students by showing Youtube videos and reading the ppt slides. That's what she did throughout the whole semester. The online segment did not help much since it's all about self-studying and she does not put an effort in teaching the materials at all. However, she expects a lot from the students when it comes to exams.

If you can, avoid this prof. One of the driest classes I've ever had along with a ton of reading and little feedback. Very hard marker with long, very difficult exams. I love psychology and really struggled to keep up with her expectations.

Brutal teacher. Tests are unrealistically hard for a 100 level course. Assignments, even though it's online are due often (like a post on MonWed and Fri in any given week) but then, she just gives full marks no matter what you write. Don't let this fool you, tests are so hard that the assignments don't help. Lowest grade I've ever received.

Sally's class was a bit of a nightmare. You basically memorize a very dry textbook, take extremely tricky, difficult tests, online exercises, and there's your grade. Minimal teaching is happening here and the grading is very tough. Disappointing to say the least.

She does not post slides online, and her tests are NOT relevant to the class. She picks out small information from the textbook that no one understands. She tells the class to email her if you have any questions but she doesn't reply.. And if she does, it's not helpful. Do NOT take her class!

Wouldn't recommend as a teacher. I took child development with her, and while the material itself was interesting she was such a hard marker that I became discouraged. Her tests are so detailed, it's hard to do well on them. She is a nice person, but not an enjoyable teacher. DONT TAKE HER CLASS.

her 4th hour work and essay were easy but thats where the easiness stops her exams are super hard may as well not go to class and just read the text. but make sure you know how to apply it to real life

I did the mixed-mode class with Sally. The in-class part was boring but it was only once every two weeks. In class she will usually give you a hint to questions that might be on the exams. Write those down. The exams were fair and I think that throughly reading the textbook will help. Half of the class is online and there is a lot of research and writing that goes into the weekly discussions. Read the text and be prepared for lots of writing. I got a good mark but put in the work

I have never rated a professor in my life and have been using this website for years. BUT this had to be shared. This is the most unhelpful teacher I have ever worked with.Tests are ridiculously focused on detail and no matter how much you study. Dont bother trying to communicate with her for help since she had no sympathy to help you pass

Very cool teacher, shes interesting, knows a lot about the feild and showed our class a real human brain. If your actually interested in learning psychology from the ground up, this class will be good for you. Do your readings, your assignments and you will be fine (that is understandable) If your looking for a fly course... this is not it.

Sally is a nice person, but her classes are useless. She covers the easy components in class but never goes into anything difficult. Class time is wasted on videos, although entertaining, useless when it comes to the midterms and final exam. Exam questions are primarily taken from the text and are easy enough if you read the book thoroughly.

She teaches well and effectively in class, however this is not what you will be tested on. You will be tested on the text book. You don't even have to attend the class, just read the chapters. Also does not matter how much work you put into essays, group projects, etc. I did all the criteria, had it in on time and she failed me. Harsh marker.
