I see this man has made several people miserable since I took him in 2000. He was the reason I dropped out of college. I couldn't pass his class. I asked him, "How did you get that 3?" and he responded, "Because I know basic multiplication". I should have stood up for myself then but I was young. Hopefully he's done "teaching".

Waited after the first test and didn't drop because I made a 'B'. Big mistake. Ended up losing my bright-futures because of taking his class. Very strict grader and teaches like the student should know everything already.

Shad is a serious teacher. He explains well. If you have ? that is not answered clearly during class, ask him after. Take home test reviews are similar to actual test!!! Does not check home work. As long as you have the book that comes with the text book with the problems worked out step by step, along with his instruction, u will be fine. Study!!

I thought he was a horrible teacher. I dropped his class and went on to another college algebra class and got an 'A', then i went on to trig, pre-calc, calc..., and so on. I'm not bad in math, but he is not a good teacher, even when I had asked for help, he was not helpful.

I wanted to hang myself after taking his class. Had to drop it because it was so hard. Unless you comprehend math EXTREMELLY well, I highly recommend not taking his class. Math isn't my strong point, and believe me, he let me know it.

cool teacher, come prepared, no slackers. i liked him because he taught me something new. math bores me, but he kept me awake. took bussiness calculus in first year and made a B. the next year i took trig in another class and fell asleep: to easy. this class will keep you on your feet

This teacher was absolutely awful. He does not explain the material very well, and does not go over the homework, i would definately never recommend this class...i had to withdraw b/c i had an F, now im taking with another teacher and have an A!

Shad is boring and teaching up to every minute of the class. Beware, if your the type of person who fails atleast on test in your class, then he is not the professor. You get 5 grades in the class, and 4 of them counts b/.c he drops your lowest test grade. Mean spirited and nasty acting.

easy. ask questions after class, i thought that was the best time for his attention. he drops your worst test grade [at least he did in '02]. when you get your test back he gives you a copy with right answers and all the steps to the problems. final test is taken from previous tests.
