Dr. Wesp is definitely one of my favorite professors here at ESU! He makes the class fun and entertaining. You don't use the textbooks that much, but I used the books mostly for studying, which definitely helped a lot.

Comment:

Dr. Wesp is very funny and keeps the class interesting. He is great at explaining the material and has realistic expectations. Most of his exams are multiple choice with a lot of questions like "both A and B" are true. He grades projects mainly on a completion basis which is nice. If you go to class and take good notes you should be fine.

He is a great guy and very willing to help you with any issues you have in the class. Even though he was a bit on the hard side and bit hard to understand when he went over his study guides, he was still a good professor and I would take him again.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS MAN. i've taken him for numerous psych classes and he is great. his experimental class can deff be boring on lecture days but his tests are extremely easy and he curves EVERYTHING. hes a great guy who cares about what hes teaching

I like him as a person but not as a professor. I've had two classes with him & in both classes I seemed to never understand what was going on. It's not hard to pass, but I didn't like feeling lost during lecture. His tests aren't that bad. Just try to follow his lead and you'll be fine.

I loved Wesp! His tests came right from his study guide (at least for 202). On nice days we'd go outside, and he's funny as hell. Nothing tops a professor opening an umbrella in class, dancing around, and singing!

I love Wesp!!! He's one of the best psych professors next to bartoli and green. He's really helpful and doesn't mind going over things again if you don't understand. I took him last year, sat in the front. This year i sit in the back. He likes to beat people up. I know this from experience..lol But its all in fun. And he's soo funny too.

great guy, really cares about the students. i like him a lot,hes funny and silly. keeps you interested. no memorizong...which is good because you actually understand the stuff then. study guides are a huge help. very easy to get along with and talk to.

Wesp is the man!I love his humor and personality!I just don't think he is really prepared for any of his classes.He kinda just babbles for a while and you have no clue what he's talking about. A lot of his definitions are made up and he gives weird examples and no real "textbook" explanation.I love the guy, but his head is definitely in the clouds.

The St. Croix trip / class with Dr. Wesp is awesome! You are able to utilize what you learn in a theraputic setting outside of the classroom, and are able to see how much Dr. Wesp truly loves what he does. bonus: any class where you can go to a rum distillery for extra credit sounds good to me!
