He is seriously the best teacher at Austin College, he makes me not want to transfer! He calls me and my best friend thing one and thing two so we bought tshirts and him a matching hat! He may go on tangents but the class is awesome and he truly cares about each of his students and is very fair about all assignments in his class! Best teacher ever!

I dreaded going to this class. His lectures were unorganized and he often went off on tangents. Everyday he found someone to pick on, for no reason. I went to talk with him during office hours and nothing changed, no help. If he runs into me on campus, he pokes fun at me like he did in class.

It looks like I'm the only one that finds him obnoxious. While his lectures are engaging, I'm sorry but the man is just plain foolish (even though he's in his fifties!). I'm constantly trying not to roll my eyes or groan when he tries to be funny. He's good at explaining ideas, but often gets his historical facts wrong, lessening his credibility.

He's one of the coolest teachers on campus. I would recommend him for his Philosophy classes as well. In general the material he teaches is hard, he is not. He welcomes you to ask questions but perfers it out of class time. He's straight ballin!!!
