All I can say is, his class provides a great foundation in accounting. He really cares for his students and is always willing to help if you reach out to him. I dropped out of his Intermediate 2 mid semester because I had a 54 avg. Retook it the following year and finished with a 91 avg. Office hours before exams are SUPER helpful.

Comment:

Anderson is a great accounting teacher. Assigns no homework and there is one large group assignment across the semester. He made the subject very digestible and enjoyable. I will definitely take him again for future accounting courses.

I love Anderson! Such a nice guy. You don't have to buy the textbook which saves a lot of money. The class is really easy as long as you pay attention and study for the tests and quizzes.

One of the best professors I've had. Project and quizzes are easy as long as you pay attention in class and look over the powerpoints. Doesn't give hours of online homework unlike other professors. 3 quizzes (drops lowest) and 2 tests. Wants to see you succeed and will help you if asked. Only professor you don't need to buy the expensive book for.

Anderson is one of the best teachers I have had. Nice guy, funny too. Went over the material very clearly and well. He took a lot of time to go over hard concepts. I had him for intermediate and would definitely take him again

Tried to make topics interesting and easier to learn, but overall the class was difficult. The 3 part project was messy as well. He kind of just throws you into the water without teaching you how to swim first. Don't take quizzes lightly either.

Probably one of my favorite professors at Stonehill. I learned a lot from his class. The way he presented the material made it easier to understand. Also, he's always willing to help students. Great class and professor.

I had Anderson for multiple classes. Corporate Financial Reporting, Financial Accounting, and Intermediate Accounting to name a few. I dunno why people say his class is hard. Maybe you should rethink your career choice? I was a philosophy major. never did any HW. and apparently I set the curve. (though I assumed everyone pulled A's)

Anderson is a very nice man but financial accounting class is very difficult. He flies through powerpoint slides making it hard to keep up and gives impossible projects where you have to search through thousands of pages of companies' financial statements online. His quizzes are ok, but overall he is a difficult grader. Expect to work for a C.

He is the best professor I had so far. He makes the material very easy to understand as long as you go to class. The best part is how he uses real life situations and applies it to the powerpoint slides. The homework is very helpful and key because if you can do the homework then his exams shouldn't be too bad. He is very helpful and loves teaching

If you are OCD and like to organize when homeworks quizzes and tests are ahead of time this class is great, his syllabus has everything laid out. He is a really good teacher you can tell he puts alot of effort into what he does and he uses real life examples to make it easy to understand concepts. Definitely take Anderson!

Financial Acounting is so easy when u have this professor teach it because he uses simple examples to teach something new. His quizes and tests are ok, you just have to study the material and you'll do fine. Attendence is a must and he gives u homework but will never check it or collect it. Best busness professor i have taken so far.

I LOVE professor Anderson. He really takes an interest in his students and is always willing to spend time with you outside of class to answer any questions etc. Accounting may not be the most exciting of subjects, but his teaching method makes the class go by really quickly. It may not be the easiest A, but it is def worthwhile!

Anderson is an awesome person and he is a very good teacher. He is great to talk to during office hours. He uses slide shows during class and posts them online. You rarely get homework, but the graded assignments can be hard at times. I recommend him for any class.

Comment:

His different method of teaching accounting is far superior to the usual crunching of the numbers. All of his class are PowerPoint filled with a few class exercises, but not too bad - plus each PP lesson is on his quickplace website so no need to take notes. Though it is extremely difficult to get an A, getting a B wasn't too hard.

He's a very prepared teacher who is very easy to understand. Brings real-life examples in to clarify the topics even further. Tests are straight-forward; if you study hard and were alive during class you'll do well. Really wants students to do well (and learn the material, too!), and is an excellent professor.
