I had him for classroom management and he was a great teacher. I leared a lot and I enjoyed going to his class, some days even looked forward to it. He makes class discussions interesting and fun, and you can tell he loves what he does.

Comment:

This was the first class that I took with him, and I thought that he was an excellent teacher. He is very inciteful! Take as many classes w/ him as possible. He is one of the best in the department other than K. Anderson.

I had Professor Almeida as an advisor for my student teaching. He was extremely helpful with aspects of classroom management. He was always willing to take the time to talk, listen, and give GOOD advice. He has high expectations; but that only makes you put in the effort to meet the challenge. TAKE EVERY CLASS YOU CAN WITH HIM!

Prof. Almeida plays favorites and seems to think that if you were in special education yourself or have had more experience in special education, you are better than the others in the class. He has high expectations, which is fine, but does not clearly instruct students how to achieve what he wants.

I LOVE PROF ALMEIDA, TAKE EVERY COURSE YOU CAN W/ HIM, HE KNOWS SO MUCH AND HE MAKES CLASS SO ENJOYABLE. NOT A WHOLE LOT OF WORK AND A VERY FAIR GRADER, MADE ME WANT TO GO TO CLASS AND BECOME A TEACHER. GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR AS WELL.
