Ive known Dr. Good from the first year he came to Auburn. Met him at honor band in 1996. He was the most important reason I chose AU. Good man with high standards who does what he says he will. Stickler for high standards of time, pitch, blend, balance, and intonation. Great in lessons. Big reason why I play with the Nashville Philharmonic now.

I Love Dr. Good. He's just a flat out great guy. Its hard to find a better person for the job. We accomplish so much under his leadership. He's intimidating at times, but its always necessary. Great leader, Great musician, Great guy. He has a sense of humor, too! Dr. Good is as good as it gets!

Is an overal nice guy, but gets PMS the moment he climbs on his tower. Strongly supports the 'family' aspect of AU/Band, but could care less about pit, colorguard, or woodwinds. If you aren't brass, he doesn't give a damn about you or your section. The only times he acknowledges non-brass people is when they screw up.

I love Dr. Good!! He is always there to help the students. He does get annoyed if things are not great at practice, but that is to be expected. He is very personal with his students and is there for them no matter what.

Dr. Good can be a tool sometimes during rehersals but his intentions are good. He cares alot about the students and the university and is a very personal guy. The experiences I've had in marching band will stay with me forever, you truly find a family and the true meaning of the Auburn spirit by joining up.

Overall, he's a good director. More often than not, he confuses the crap out of me. I eventually get an understanding after he notices me messing up and finally yells the correct instructions to me. Every now and then he'll get into one of his "moods," but he always apologizes. He's a really cool guy...but he's shifty i tell you....shifty...
