Comment:

Dr. Weible is a very funny and great professor who is willing to help you if you don't understand something! The group simulation game and grading scale was hard to understand though. Be sure to study hard for the exams and use the study guides on Blackboard! There is also an individual presentation and IT interview! I recommend him and this class!

The most frustrating class I have ever taken in my entire life. Where to start? He refuses to respond to emails/texts and if he does its like a week later(will leave you on read) I am taking this class online and it is not Mac compatible so be prepared to stay in the study hall(if the program works, crashes constantly)

Instructor Weible is very good with computers but he's not good at teaching it. Its the type of situation where he can do it himself but has no way to explain it. He gets very off topic in class too, last time I needed help I sat there with my hand raised while he told the class about an infected growth he got on his hip that needed surgery. Gross.

I really did not like Rick. He was cool when he was speaking to the class as a whole but was severely impolite when it was 1 on 1. He made me kind of uncomfortable the way he would look at me. If you take his class definitely don't bother going because he won't help you.

Comment:

I don't like Dr. Weible at all. Since I was taking him online, I expected him to respond to my emails, but he would take days to respond, and only after I had to send an additional 5 emails. If you're taking it online, be ready for him to mess up your grades as well. He is disorganized and makes this easy course a nightmare. AVOID!!!

Weible is an okay teacher. He only lets you skip class twice but otherwise you lose points if you arent there. He lectures for the first 2 months then stops and lets everyone do their own thing. His test are pretty easy if you do the homework. He doesnt take off for late work. Just dont get far behind on the homework or you will be lost.

Instructor Weible doesn't care about the success of his students. He sits on his phone the entire class and if you ask him for help he will direct you to some website or training but won't help or give an explanation. He also yelled at me for asking a question once.

Spent the whole semester trying to sell my class his computer software products. Didn't teach at all. He would literally come into class ask us to buy various things and then he would leave early.

I had Weible for MIS 200 and I went to the class maybe 6 times the whole semester. The entirety of the work was online so there was no need to go to class. The times I did go to class, there were maybe 20 out of the 80 on the roster. He's a funny guy and more than willing to help you out with anything you need. Would take again.

The class was easy, but time consuming. You never have to go to the class unless you have a question. The entire course was online and the book itself is useless, but you have to buy it so you can have the access code to the online portion. Don't procrastinate and wait until the last minute to start on your work!

Dr. Weible can be fun and all, but there comes a point where never answering emails and being scatter brained starts to be irritating. He's nice and all and really does want to help his students, he is just awful at clarity and answering emails back.

This teacher sucks. Really unorganized (uses other teachers material for the class even though it doesn't really fit). If you email him he will never get back to you. He doesn't really tell you how everything is graded. If you try to talk to him, he'll just laugh, make a joke, and won't give you a direct answer.

Easy class. Take him for MIS if you're in the College of Business. Dr. Weible is an enthusiastic guy, but the lectures were rambling and not always clear. Study the vocabulary from the book(s) to succeed on the tests. He posts online study guides for the exams but they aren't enough on their own to get you an A.
