This class was a killer but very interesting, I learned a lot and Rita was incredibly helpful both in and out of class. I'd take any course she teaches. I find her combination of caring and high expectations excellent. In the program ,she is one of the best. Take pictures of the notes she draws on the board, they'll help you study.

Professor Biswas is one of the sweetest and most thoughtful person. She genuinely wants you to understand the material. Test are tough when there is no partial credit, but she does fully prepare you for the tests. All the examples are directly compatible with the test and there aren't an abundance of examples that overwhelm

I took two of Professor Biswas's classes. They were both excellent. Her lectures are well-planned and I definitely agree that "everything was well-managed." Tests are fairly graded, and classes are interesting. A very intelligent professor. Nice, too.

I think that she is a very understanding and good professor. I think her only weakness is that she does not always appear open to her students thoughts and ideas. She seems a little confused when a problem of understanding a question is raised by a student.

she's soooo nice, and so understanding. she's an awesome teacher who respects her students and gives them the benefit of the doubt. she's so good at what she does and really knows her stuff. i highly recommend this class if you're looking into grad courses.
