Very hands on class and you don't need the book at all. She allows us to be creative and gives us constructive criticism and feedback although she plays favorites a little and if she doesn't like your idea she's gonna keep making little changes until it's what she wants it to be. Over all super fun and easy class.

Took Rita's FASH 105 class and it was SOO boring! It was a 3 hour class but I feel like her lectures could have been done in 45 minutes but she dragged them out. Many people stopped showing up! Didn't open the textbook once, although it is an easy A. If you have to take this class w/ this prof then go ahead but if there's another option take it!

Rita was my best teacher this semester! She really cares about her students and puts a lot of effort into teaching. Don't skip class cuz there are always in-class assignments. Plenty of extra credit for those not afraid to present articles in front of class. Gives study guides for exams and reviews before each. Flexible with hw but strict deadlines

She not only taught her profession, but lived it. She practiced what she preached every time she came into the classroom, demonstrating her expert fashion in the clothes she wore. She was willing to work with anyone who needed it, and assigned relevant homework assignments.

This is a fun class! It is like learning how to do what they do on what not to wear. Rita teaches the subject from every direction: guest speakers, in class activities and community envolvement. You will have fun in this class and be learning very useful imformation.
