She is defiantly one of the worst teachers I have ever had. In a class about where we are discussing books about animals, one written by Temple Grandin, and full of Animal Behavior majors, she would not allow us to discuss animals. She also does not correct her own grammar, and said things are wrong when they are not. Awful teacher, rude person.

She is very PICKY! Her class is dull and she'll often use the annoying phrase of "And what else?" even after the topic has been exhausted. She lets you resubmit work. She has high expectations, the class wasn't that bad but it was definitely the worst part of my day.

I am a good student who is interested in learning. I came into her class excited but now I hate class. She seems nice but that's just a sugar coating her inner demon. She's a stickler about labeling assignments properly and kicks yo out of class if you don't have direct quotes, even if you did the reading assignment. FYS shouldn't be this stressful

She is one of the worst teachers I have ever had. She thinks that her class is the only one that you are taking, and treats a 101 level class like its a 400 level. Overall she gives poor, useless feedback to assignments. You could write a paper and she would simply say "nope" and give you a poor grade. Also a very hard grader.

If you want to learn she's a fantastic professor! If you're lazy, then don't waste her time. She loves to help you, but you have to do the push-ups! She will go out of her way and beyond for you if you show the effort to work! She helped me graduate with a triple major!

She has high expectations and is aware of it. She is more than willing to help students achieve in this class. Her goal is to teach students how to be effective and efficient writers. The work isn't so bad if you read and participate in class, but don't expect to get that good of grades. It's simply not fair how unsuspecting freshman don't have a choice in picking their classes first semester. This woman slams you with a lot of reading, and on top of that, is probably the hardest grader I have ever met. Ruined my 1st semester GPA, got a 4.0 in pre-med classes second semester. It doesnt matter how smart you are, no mercy from her

She is a very good teacher, but very demanding. She asks alot from you, but she is very helpful if you come and ask her for help. There is alot of work, but I mean, it's an english class. Lots of reading and class discussion, and a paper on the stuff you read every few weeks. Great professor, but don't take the class if you want an easy grade.

Dr. Capezzi is a very nice person, the only glich is at when the teaching takes place. She is a very demanding, very liberal teacher, that will not adapt to the students. I would not recomend to take her class if you are a relaxed student.

Terrible prof. VERY liberal, if you disagree with her, you're automatically wrong, and you may as well forget doing well. I did not learn one thing in the class. She had her favorites, and if you weren't one of them, then your work and effort meant nothing.

She's intelligent, hard working, demanding, irritating, infuriating, and wonderful. If you go to her for help, she's amazing, but she won't do your work for you. Do not take her class if you don't want to think, read, write, or push yourself. I've never had anyone that cared as much about my individual work ethic and quality of writing.
