Doesn't teach well, just reads off PowerPoints. Has high expectations for projects, papers, etc. but doesn't give good instruction on how to go about it. If you want a good grade, you have to do most things independently or ask other classmates and work together.

Bertram speeds through his outdated lectures. He reads off these ppts and isn't teaching. He tries to make up for this by showing videos on his materal after the lectures. His syllabi isn't online nor are the grades. Slides are tho,key in teaching yourself. Book isn't used. Midterm and Research proposal are stupidly hard. It's a cruel joke.

Tests are tough and plan on learning everything yourself. Powerpoints online so don't bother going to class. Grade weighting sucks ass. Simple assignments/quizzes are worth MUCH more than 11 page research paper. AKA no gratification for your work.

Your grade is made up of a midterm, final, computer assignments, and a research project you have to do (even though it is a stats class) and that's it. Class rarely takes the whole time. Notes are given but he goes fast through them and talks about a lot of PT examplesstories. He is willing to answer your questions if you ask him after class.

Unfortunately this class is required but provides no use. Most students will not do well on the midterm, but if you can live with a B for your grade, DON'T DROP. I failed my midterm but did well on all other assignments, earning above a 90% on all of them, and an 80% on my final and left the class with a B. Moral of the story: don't drop the class!

I HATE HIM. By far the worst "teacher" in the entire world; he doesnt even deserve to be called a teacher because he doesnt know how to teach! He is useless. He is super vague and when you ask questions, he doesnt answer them! He flat out told me he wouldnt help me on a huge project we had, also never hands back assignments or gives grades!

He is the worst teacher I have had at Bradley yet! He didnt even major in PT, and he acts like he knows everyting about it just because his wife did. He picks favorites. If he doesn't like u than u are screwed. The class is not hard, but he is HORRIBLE. Not helpful what so ever. Makes waay too much money for what little he actuallyd does.

If you put any effort at all in this class it isn't that hard. I noticed several lazy students sitting in the back who got frustrated when things weren't made easy for them. He also said that there were a lot more "F"s on the midterm exam this semester. I got a "B" by showing up to class, taking notes, reading the textbook, and asking questions.

This class is easy. 2 tests and one big paper. His lectures were not always clear and he seemed to forget what he wrote on his sylabus. But he gives you the benefit of the doubt on quizes/tests. Wasted alot of time in class watching 80's videos on statistics.

You don't know what you "need to know" until you are taking the test. Lectures are vague and the book is difficult to read. Examples provided in class and on the website are helpful though.
