I had mixed feelings about this prof. Pros: He is genuinely good at teaching! His lectures were easy to follow and he explained things efficiently. Funny sense of humour. Makes himself super accessible for students (office hrs and email) CONS: Found him a bit rude, made ppl feel dumb with their questions, defs showed favourites, INSECTS (u'll know)

He was a fair prof, I would take him again. He always prepared you for what was on his quizzes, if you read the lecture notes you will have no problems. His lectures are interesting and he has funny biology minded jokes. If you put the work in since it is a heavy course you should have no problem passing and even exceeding in the course.

Rob is a great instructor. Pay attention to lectures, study the notes you've taken and you will succeed. He is amazing at returning emails at all odd hours of the day. I strongly recommend him.

Very passionate about the subjects he teaches. Pretty chill guy. Leaves all of his marking until the end of semester and then becomes very irritable. Has a very unusual idea of what constitutes plagiarism so be careful. Actually one of the better teachers in the Douglas bio department. Beware the late semester moodiness and plagiarism accusations!

Loved his teaching style so much in 1110, so I took his ecology class and went on field trips! Very good at explaining concepts, covers almost everything you need to know in class, take extra notes for the slides because they won't make as much sense later...also, he doesn't put up with "jerks" in the class :)

This class is taken with Michael Wilson also. Rob is clearly the better professor. Very approachable, helpful, tries to ensure everyone understands all the time. And in contrast to Michael Wilson, he actually gives breaks.

Well-informed, dynamic personality, very understanding (people come in late alot in the morning and he understands that people get caught in traffic etc, just don't abuse it). Over-all fairly organized, and obviously likes what he's doing. The information can be alittle hard to memorize, but if you study you'll do fine.

Excellent teacher! He is so knowlegible and enthused about teaching. Soo nice and very approachable. Can be quite funny at times.He isn't a hard teacher/marker, but I found the mass amount of material hard to learn. Definatley take a class with Rob :)
