Dr. Angel is very funny and really cares about his students. He does do reading checks for each chapter which are mostly online, but not all of the time. He does take extremely long to grade essays, but other than that he is an all around great professor!

Dr Angel is amazing. His passion for developing outstanding special education teachers is unmatched. Expect to work in this class but, expect to learn... a lot. He gives great feedback and if you turn in assignments that he feels goes above and beyond what he expects, he will give extra credit.

Probably the best professor i have ever had. So passionate and knowledgable about special education and anything relating to the field. Always willing to sit down and talk to you about anything you have questions about and is very understanding. Absolutely loved him and the class. It wasn't an easy A, definitely had to work hard to earn the grade.

Professor Angel is very passionate about special education and exceptional children! He made the class very interestig. If you go to class and do all the work, you will do fine. He is very unbiased when he grades and often just requires a student ID on papers so he don't know who's is who's till he's done grading

He is a good teacher. He really knows his stuff and wants his students to aswell. His tests are ridiculous. You can study all you want but it still doesn't help on the trick questions. Mind you, its not just my problem. The entire class shares this problem. Every test has about 5 trick questions. You can still get a B but I usually try for an A

He will not help you with make-up work if you miss class, he expects you to get your missed notes from another student. He tells great stories that have helpful insights into the world of education, but these stories are not on the test. You have to learn the book material yourself, as he does not lecture from it. Lectures are very disorganized.

Dr. Angel is by far one of the best professors that I have ever had at Marshall. He is a super nice guy willing to help anyone. Class work could be quite tedious at times. However,I learned a lot and never felt pressured with deadlines. Dr. Angel is very sensitive to the lives of his students.
