Smart guy-maybe too smart for this class.He somehow makes even the easiest stuff very complicated and confusing.He is totally willing to help outside of class but it still won't really help-be sure to study on your own and have very specific questions if you do ask for help.Class is really boring and way harder than it should be- very frustrating

He is a HORRIBLE professor. He is never any help to students, and it appears as if he has no idea what he is teaching. He doesnt cover in class what he will assign for homework, so be prepared to teach yourself. If you can take Shiv Karunakaran instead of him for any Math for Elementary Teachers class, do it. It is 4 hours a week of torture.

I HATE HIM. he grades incredibly hard and only wears 3 different shirts. he doesn't help anyone with their work and when he does try and explain, it makes it even harder to understand. do your best to stay away from him. he also uses 7 different colors of chalk, all of which can be included in one sentence on the chalkboard.

Very hard teacher. Everytime I would go to his office he made me feel like an idiot. His tests are impossible. I'd be able to do the homeworks and went to every class, but when it comes to the tests/quizzes I'd get stumped on almost every problem because he throws in tons of tricks. Goes fast, doesn't explain well. Find a different teacher.

My experiences with Chamblin were not positive at all...he refuses to cut anyone a break and moves through material super fast. I thought he was a jerk personally. He was fun in class though b/c everyone cracked jokes on him.

He was very helpful. He will not give out answers at any time so if you go to office hours prepare to have questions. He will walk you through work and give help if and only if you give effort. He was always available. He does give alot of work but it helps you to stay on top of things. I learned alot, and enjoyed the class.

Good but hard teacher in the classroom but worthless outside it. If you go to his office, he won't be able to answer any of questions, whether easy or hard. Prepare to be frustrated and to do more work than any other calc student. Class consists of weekly quizzes, graded homeworks and four exams.

Flat out awful professor. Taught it as if we were already familiar with the material beforehand. Tried to make you feel like a moron if you saw him during his office hours and was stubborn getting in depth if you were still confused. No personality whatsoever. Don't EVER take this professor.
