Grizz is amazing! He tells you amazing stories and still manages to teach you everything you need to know. His lectures can get long but if you study, you should be ok.

He is a good guy. Class is NOT as easy as people say. If you show up, take notes, and pay attention you will be fine. I was surprised to see alot of people drop the class in the beginning, but that was mostly because people thought it was going to be really easy. His tests can be kind of wordy, that is where I had my problem, but I got a B.

Grizz has to be the best professor at NMU. Yeah every class is a powerpoint of notes, but he adds stories which help alot. Take the notes, study the notes and what you dont understand look up in the book or set up a meeting with him. Great professor who tells it like it is, and always lets you out early.

Very intresting class. He has plenty of stories to tell. Can tell this is a freshman course, after first day half the class is gone. I would tell students beware if you have trouble reading or poor reading comprehension. I feel I let my tutor down and frustrated with the grade I got for the effort I put in. Get the workbook, helps alot.

He tells some interesting stories. Lectures are often off topic and of little help to learning the material but you are REQUIRED to attend them. If you miss what he thinks is too many lectures (no number of days given on syllabus) you WILL be forced to drop the class or receive an automatic failure with NO personal warnings. This is 100% true.

Grizz is an excellent teacher. Keeps class interesting, mixes in jokes, and tons of stories. Strays from the book often yet all test questions come from textbook banks, so reading is important. Without a doubt, there is no professor on campus with more experience in the field than him. Will really teach you the truth of being an officer.

Lots of references to alcohol, which might have been amusing if that's what I was there for. Very scatter-brained and lectures opposite the book at times. I definately learned more from the text book than his backward profanity-decorated classes. Made out to be a lot better than he is.

He's a great professor. Very understanding and fun. He gets off topic a lot during lecture, but still manages to get through the work. Has an outline of the notes on WebCT, which is nice. He makes the class interesting and applicable. Go to class and take notes and you'll do just fine, without opening the book. I'd reccomend him any day :)

I'm not seeing what the hype over this guy is. As a teacher, he's fair at best. Good guy, but a bit scatterd. Maybe if I was 18 I'd find the booze references more amusing. I learned more from the book than from his lectures.

Professor Davidson is AWESOME! I took his class as a high school senior and loved it. It's very easy, and you can print the notes he teaches with off of WebCT. Loves to make booze and bar references. He has great stories and has been all over the world!
