Dr. Dornsife was amazing! The class is discussion based so participation & attendance is mandatory. The midterm & final papers, along with participation points, will determine your grade. Don't worry - he truly wants everyone to succeed and will do whatever he can to help. Dr. Dornsife made this class amazing! Take his class - you won't regret it!

This class is tough. Professor Dornsife truly challenges you to participate a lot in each class and work hard on two major papers. You must attend every class for an A. That being said this class will change you. It will help you grow so much! I am so fortunate to have taken a class from this great man who is now a real friend. Take this class!!!

Participation is a big part of your grade so make sure you talk in class, it is discussion based and teaches you a lot on life. He is an awesome teacher and I want to take his class again. Take him if you can because you won't regret it. Just weekly writings that are however long you want them to be, he is one of the best professors I have had.

Rob is definitely my favorite professor! He is such a funny and inspirational man, and I always looked forward to going to his class. There are papers due every week based on class discussions from the previous week, but the material discussed in class is so interesting that you'll actually want to write about them. Rob's 150 is life-changing!!

Rob has unquestionably been the most inspiring professor I've had, both in college & high school. He's very inclusive & develops a personal relationship with each student. The class is pretty much a critical thinking class & primarily discussion-based. Weekly papers are assigned & a huge chunk of the grade, so that can be a dealbreaker for some.

Rob teaches to teach. He really wants his students to learn and grow as people as well as writers. He's easy-going, but in my class (a summer course) there were papers due almost daily. They were practice papers, but still put in work!!!

Rob is the coolest professor I have taken. His class is all discussion based so little to none on outside reading. I loved his class and I wish I could take him for more classes. He is really inspirational and teaches you how to be a good person and good student. He will give tips on how to be able to live in the world and definitely changes lives.

His classes are literally life changing and change the way you see the world. Almost entirely class discussion. He makes you feel good about whatever you say but pushes you to "say more." One of the best professors at Creighton.

He's the best professor I've ever had. It was a summer course, so it was a smaller setting. Class was amazing and I actually looked forward to going. It felt more like a philosophy class and everyone became close. Dr. D got to know everyone on a personal level and the class has always stuck with me. I highly recommend him. It was something special.

Rob is amazing. I cannot recommend his ENG 150 class highly enough. this class will actually change your life. TAKE IT. he is the best teacher I have ever had. Also, you have to be willing to participate and talk in class; that's important to your grade. however, he will make you totally WANT to talk. you will love this class. take it take it!

BEST PROFESSOR EVER you must take a class from him. Couldn't wait to go to class every week. Class is all discussion but everyone gets so into it & it's so fun. Dr. Dornsife truly cares about each student and loves his job. One paper due each week, midterm, & final. Participation is main grade though. I can't imagine anyone not loving his class.

For the love of education, please do anything in your power to take Rob Dornsife your freshman year. Amazing English professor and by far was my favorite class my first semester. HEAVILY CLASS DISCUSSION BASED with a weekly paper due every Monday. Do everything in your power to take him, your writing improves and so does you love for English.

Like everyone else here says, Rob is incredible. It's a tough class that will take a lot of out-of-classroom time, but it's the best class I've ever taken. Rob makes you look at things in a way you never have before. He's a role model to me.
