I liked him very much. He is an older gentleman and does not speak English with the greatest clarity, but his personality and stories make up for that. I did have to repeat many questions but it was okay...give the guy a break. He made class fun and he's a good teacher for first semester Spanish.

Soft spoken, easy going, very kind. I loved him. More flexible on homework than most other Spanish teachers. Lets class out early most days. Kind of hard to hear him, and has a thick accent...sit toward the front.

This guy is so old and crazy. Unless he has had you before or you are a compelte brown noser the first day good luck w/ him. He liked me because I didn't ask ?'s but when I started to he HATED me. He had a full class the first day but ended having so many ppl drop the class there were only 14 students. Several students reported him to the dean.

Easily one of the greatest teachers I have ever had. He is a funny man and makes learning spanish fun. He has a great teaching style. He will help you as long as you show your trying. Got an A on every test. TAKE HIS CLASS!

Very nice and understanding. At first glance you might be worried.. But he is actually very funny and interesting. He's on the older side, so if you have prejudices about the over 65 crowd, don't take his class. Last comment: thought I got a borderline B- maybe C, but he gave me an A!

My experience was that this professor, who is from Peru, teaches in an old fashoned style which is designed to aid students in learning rather than trying not to offend anyone and helping students learn how to pass test.
