The dude is hilarious and keeps you entertained during lecture. Although he is kind of all over the place so lecture is hard to follow at times. He does want the class to be easy for you or as he calls it a "GPA Booster". He does offer great help during office hours, so if you go to that you'll be fine.

This was my Easy A class. You will have to study, but he'll teach you the most straightforward way of solving a problem. If you come to lecture, do the HW problems ("due" and not "due") and study before the tests, you'll be fine. He's pretty funny too.

Comment:

Professor Gallop is a nice guy and knows his stuff. He is corny with his jokes but he's a good person and likes his students. The only thing I didn't like was that when we reviewed for a test the examples were very straight forward, but come the test they were more challenging and it was so much harder than you planned for. Common final.

He is a great person and hilarious. Did not mind going to his class at all. Not much homework and a few tests. The topics covered towards the end got confusing so I needed a tutor. I didn't study too much, usually just the night before the test, and ended up with an A in the class. Math isn't my best subject either.

Dr. Gallop is a very funny guy and he's always telling jokes in class. His lectures are mostly powerpoint based, so it can be hard to write and listen at the same time. However, his tests are pretty difficult. The test questions require a deep understanding of the material, so studying is a must. Overall, I recommend taking him, but study a lot!

gallop is awesome. his class is very hard its an upper level math class if you are not willing to put the time in then don't waste your time with him. if you study hard and do all the hw and go over his notes you will do fine. hes a great statistician extremely smart.

Nice guy. Take good notes, he tends to repeat over and over the stuff that is usually on the exams. can be boring sometimes but it's really not that bad. tends to use the phrase "and all" a lot... like 50+ times per class hahah
