Awesome professor, very opinionated about the current state of the world and not afraid to discuss it. Tests can be rough but if you pay attention and can respond to his questions in an intelligent paragraph you will do fine. Tends to talk in circles sometimes but he is very knowledgable and you can learn alot from his classes.

Likes to make his students feel stupid. There are no tests, just ALOT of papers. All of the books are boring. If you are five mins late for anything, he will comment on you and make you feel dumb. He forgets that we are the one paying to go, not him. AVOID!!!!

Nice guy, some good funny stories. Only 4 or 5 exams the whole semester. Tests were all essay format though. OK class only problem was how he had something to say about everything that really got annoying after awhile.

Very confusing teacher. Not sure what is expected on tests and essays are next to impossible to ace. He talks in circles during the class period and you are responsible for things that he has not covered. High numbers will drop the class before the end of the semester. Look for someone else.

class just outrageous, very partial to women, essays were downright incriminating, hard to approach and even respond to in class w/ out him making a crude, uncalled for, **** comment. Completely out of control class for a merely 3 credit elective

Dr. Himmer is one of the best, most intelligent COLLEGE professors I have ever had. It is in high school that folks need to learn how to write in paragraph form and respond to essay questions, yet he is willing to help students prepare for exams.
